The Created and Contested Territories Group is a research institute within Norwich University of the Arts in the United Kingdom. Group members are drawn from a diverse range of fields including architecture and the arts, history, critical theory, visual effects and applied physics. United by research on a common theme, the group’s work is characterised by a dialogical approach and robust outcomes forged through disagreement.

This diverse group of early career researchers and practitioners work within the precepts of conflict theory¬†to question dominant narratives around of contested space.
